Don C, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Steve Stoute Discuss Gaming Culture's Global Dominance

At ComplexCon Chicago, NBA2K hosted a panel on how the video game has evolved over the past 20 years.

Over the course of the past two decades, NBA2K has completely revolutionized how basketball players and fans get involved with the sport off the court. That trend continued during ComplexCon Chicago, where NBA2K—the official sponsor of the Complex Current stage—presented a special panel on the video game’s influence and how it has evolved over time.

Hosted by sports and entertainment executive Paul Rivera, the panel featured Don C, Steve Stoute, and NBA player Karl-Anthony Towns. Towards the end of the lively discussion, rising star NLE Choppa joined the panel as a special guest to celebrate NBA2K’s latest innovation.

With the release of NBA2K20, the franchise now allows players to submit their own music to be played during the game. The playlist will be automatically updated with new songs throughout the season, which could be a game-changer for new and established artists.

Check out the recap of the panel above, and pick up your copy of NBA2K20 when it drops September 6.
