The Los Angeles Lakers aren't doing quite as well this season as they have in recent years, and NBA insider Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports has very much indicated that he thinks head coach Luke Walton will be replaced this offseason. Appearing as a guest on Colin Cowherd's The Herd, Haynes even indicated who he thinks might replace Walton if he does indeed get the axe as head coach.

Speaking with Cowherd, Haynes said he believes Tyronn Lue could replace Walton if he does indeed get fired. "Well, obviously Tyronn Lue," Haynes responded when asked who he thinks could replace Walton at the 7:00 mark in the clip above. "I mean, LeBron James, the day Lue got fired LeBron James put a tweet out supporting him. ‘You know how to contact me if you need me.'"

The question popped up after Haynes expressed his concern with how Walton had been managing the Lakers, stating that "any time a coach is changing the starting lineup late February, early March, that's a problem." Of course, this isn't the first time Lue coached LeBron James, as he previously served as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers when James was still with the team up until October 2018.

Lue later joined Los Angeles Clippers as head coach, although his role is more informal than his previous work with the Cavs.
