Vikings Player Stefon Diggs Buys Custom $15,000 Starbucks Chain

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs is a diehard Starbucks fan, so it would only make sense that he would throw down an estimated $15,000 on a custom chain with the coffee chain’s logo.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs has made no secret of his love for Starbucks. Back in August of 2017, Diggs wore a customized pair of Nike cleats that resembled the look of a traditional Starbucks cup when the Vikings played a preseason game against the Seahawks in Seattle, the city where the coffee chain was founded.

The custom cleats led to Diggs expressing his love for Starbucks on Twitter with the company making it known that the feeling is mutual.

The love is equal, forever & ever. 💚

So, what would possibly be the next logical step in his love affair with the coffee chain? What about a custom piece of jewelry featuring the Starbucks logo that is worth a reported $15,000? Al the Jeweler out of Labelle Jewelry in Totowa, N.J. posted a video of the chain, which has more than 1,000 emeralds and VS diamonds.

According to TMZ Sports, Diggs also identifies with the coffee chain because "like Starbucks, he’s 'open all day.'" In late July, the star wide receiver signed a five-year extension worth $72 million with $40 million in guaranteed money. Diggs' purchase may seem reckless and questionable, but it didn't come close to hurting his pockets.
