Former Cowboys running back Joseph Randle is back in the news, and it's again unrelated to his now abandoned football career. Dallas' former fifth-round pick out of Oklahoma State was arrested in Kansas on a suspicion of rape charge, reports the Associated Press

At 3:40 a.m. on Friday, Randle was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail. Spokespeople for the police department and the prosecutors office have yet to release a statement about the arrest. In June, Randle was released from jail after agreeing to a plea deal that gives prosecutors carte blanche to send him back if he got in trouble again. It appears he did.

Friday morning's arrest was just the latest in the running back's string of run-ins with the law. Back in the winter of 2015, he allegedly waived a gun at his child's mother before being arrested on a drug charge.  Later that year, he was caught on surveillance video stealing underwear and cologne, and assaulted a security guard in an Atlantic City casino. After yet another arrest in the winter of 2016, he reportedly threatened to kill a cop who wouldn't let him make a phone call.
