Sasha Banks Says She's Ready to Face Ronda Rousey 'Anytime'

WWE superstar Sasha Banks joined Peter Rosenberg for an eye-opening wrestling conversation, which included her thoughts on a possible matchup with Ronda Rousey.

Just days after Ronda Rouseybecame the first women to hold championship gold in the WWE and the UFC with her win at SummerSlam, Open Late With Peter Rosenberg drops its all-WWE episode. In the hot seat this week is Sasha Banks, who herself is a four-time Raw Women's Champion, and Rosenberg made sure get Banks' thoughts on the possibility of getting into the ring with Rousey.

"How long can you wait to have a match with Ronda Rousey?" Rosenberg asked. After putting on a huge smile, Banks kept it a buck. "Anytime, I'm ready for her," she said. "Especially knowing her now, I'm more than happy to have a match with her. I think she's awesome, I think we could make magic together, and I [don't have] anything bad to say about her."

It sounds like Banks didn't always feel that way about Rousey, though. "When I first found out that she was going to come, I was like, 'Ugh, we don't need that, we don't need that taking away from what we're doing,'" she explained. "But she helps so much, she works so hard, she always wants to learn, and she loves it and respects it. I appreciate that."

Banks also talked about meeting her cousin, Snoop Dogg, when she got into wrestling as a kid, and shared her dream matches as a WWE superstar. You can check out her interview and more in this week's episode of Open Late With Peter Rosenberg above, or head over to YouTube.com/Complex.
