No doubt you've already figured it out, but until LeBron James signs a new contract the speculation about where he'll end up next season will be (and already is) extremely rampant. In the meantime, bare with the rumors.
According to The Athletic's Mike Vorkunov, Knicks big man Enes Kanter stated that he's doing his due diligence by attempting to recruit James to New York. And he also stated that he believes the team has a shot at signing the highly, highly coveted 14-time All-Star.
Best of luck with that.
"I’m trying," said Kanter. "I don’t want to say it’s possible, whatever, but I’m trying. Let’s give him a shot. Why not? Might just get him. Never know.
“I’m working, man. I need some help. I’m working on it. I think just because it’s New York. If he wins here he is the G.O.A.T. No question, he is the G.O.A.T. I think we have a good chance to get him, I guess."
Granted "I guess" isn't the strongest wording, but this is how rumors work. For what it's worth, Vegas has it at:
Not much longer now.
