Tyronn Lue Says Don’t Count Cavs Out: 'It’s Not Over Till It’s Over'

Tyronn Lue says don't count Cavs out, which is what you'd expect him to say.

Considering the first 18+ hours of  buzz and general hype surrounding this year's Finals match-up, it would seem that most fans and gamblers considered the league's actual championship to be the Warriors and Rockets in the WCF.

This next series is just a formality.

Still, with Cleveland and Golden State currently tied at 0-0, Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue would advise against writing his team off. Something tells me that Vegas won't be swayed by a coach trying to pump up his own squad, but he said it anyway.

"You can’t count us out. We’ve been in every possible position you can be in in the playoffs," Lue said in response to the unsurprising revelation that Cleveland is big-time underdogs. "It’s not over till it’s over.”

Though it will surely change shortly (if it hasn't already) Vegas had Cleveland opening as +650 underdogs. That means A.) Golden State is the biggest Finals favorite in 16 years, and B.) Longshot or not Cleveland represents your chance to win decent money.

The opening line also represented by far the biggest underdog that any of LeBron James' nine Finals bound teams have been, topping the +360 odds Cleveland had prior to playing the Spurs in 2007.
