Tristan Thompson Opens Up About Fatherhood: ‘It Changes You’

"Baby True is eating, sleeping, and, uh, shitting. That's all they do."

Despite the past infidelity drama surrounding his relationship with reality star Khloé Kardashian, Tristan Thompson is clearly enamored with his new family, the NY Daily News reports. Thompson was a guest on the "Road Trippin" podcast and spoke candidly about his daughter True, who he added was "doing good" and busy "eating, sleeping, and shitting."

"I think with a girl, you're just so much more emotionally like...with a boy, it's just like, 'Hey man, you'll be all right man. Stop crying,'"  he said, comparing the relationship with his one-month-old daughter to the one he has with his 17-month old son, Prince, with model Jordan Craig. "But, it's like, 'True, it's gonna be okay. You know, we're right here. Daddy's here to feed you. It's me! Look, yeah!' It's way different, but it's fun, though. It changes you."

It's only been a month since Khloé Kardashian gave birth to True in Cleveland, just a couple of days after footage of Thompson kissing another woman was released by TMZ. In a different clip, he's seen heading into a New York City hotel during the time that Kardashian would have already been getting ready to give birth. A source recently told Us Weekly that Thompson was "absolutely devastated" to have hurt Kardashian and reportedly "broke down crying" in the hospital room shortly after she gave birth. "Khloé has always said that everything happens for a reason but absolutely loves Tristan. He actually told Khloé he was relieved that it had come out and that he thinks subconsciously he wanted to get caught,” the source also said. It appears that Kardashian has already forgiven Thompson, popping up at a recent Cleveland Cavaliers game to cheer him on.
