A rivalry is brewing between two of the best young role players in the East. With the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards repeatedly beefing throughout their first-round matchup, Wizards forward Kelly Oubre Jr. and Raptors guard Delon Wright have developed a little one-on-one battle in the media.

Wright was a key figure in Toronto's Game Five win, scoring 18 points on 6-for-10 shooting, grabbing five rebounds, and snatching two steals. Ahead of Game Six, Oubre discredited his performance.

"The next game is a different story," Oubre said. "We're back at home. Just like Delon doesn't play well anywhere else, you know, other than at home. You can kind of chalk it up as the same story."

As Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer noted, it was a super strange criticism for Oubre, of all people, to make.

Interesting trash talk. Over his last 40 games, Kelly Oubre is shooting 30.8% from 3 at home and he's 23.1% from 3 on the road. https://t.co/J6emaNp4zG

Wright said he saw Oubre's comments, and he has a response planned. Get your recorders ready, beat writers.

Delon Wright on Oubre's comments to @CandaceDBuckner suggesting he only plays well at home: "I saw it. I mean, that's his opinion. I didn't play as good as I did at home there, but he made it seem like I was just a total bust. We'll see in Game 6."
Delon, under his breath as he walked off: "I've got a quote ready for (Oubre) after we win."

We're looking forward to whatever Fire Quote Delon has on the dome. Granted, of course, Toronto has to win the game for him to unleash said Fire Quote. Game Six is slated for 7 p.m. It will air on NBATV.
