Everyone should be constantly hugging all the time, especially in sports, so kudos to Fairfield Stags senior guard Tyler Nelson and team coach Sydney Johnson.

During the final moments of a game against the Iona Gaels Monday, Johnson and Nelson hugged out the realization that they wouldn't be cruising on to the NCAA Tournament. According to CBS News, Johnson and Nelson have become "undeniably" close friends over the past four years.

Many agreed with the above tweet's awesomeness designation, as seen below:

For those down with stats, you already know that Nelson enjoyed a 22.1 per-game point average this year. That average was enough to give him both the lead in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and the distinction of being Fairfield's all-time leading scorer. Last month, as Sports Illustrated points out, Nelson surpassed Tony George's record.

Anyway, go hug somebody.
