Russell Westbrook Really Told a Reporter to Answer His Own Question and Walked Out

Russell Westbrook ended his Tuesday media availability in hilarious fashion.

Russell Westbrook has a love/hate relationship with the media. Sometimes he loves the spotlight. Other times—like when reporters ask questions he thinks are dumb—the Brodie doesn't even try to mask his disdain.

We've seen before how Russ responds to questions he doesn't like. Remember that time in 2013 he gave a reporter the ultimate stank face and said, "Bro, what are you talking about, man?" Or that time in 2017 he went off on a reporter who questioned his team's toughness?

Sometimes, though, his responses are funnier—like in 2016, when a reporter asked about Steph Curry's defense and Westbrook couldn't stifle his laughter. We got another funny example Wednesday.

The Thunder were gearing up for a big game against the Golden State Warriors—and former Oklahoma City star Kevin Durant—when a reporter asked Russ how he would approach the game and how much he looked forward to it. Westbrook looked at another reporter and said, "What's my answer?"

"You play every game the same way," the reporter answered.

Russ looked at him and walked off, ending his media availability. It was a hilarious drop-the-mic moment.

The game is set to tip at 10:30 p.m. EST on TNT. The Warriors are currently No. 1 in the West, and the Thunder are at No. 5 at 30-24. Depending on how things go in the first round of the playoffs, this could be a potential second-round Western Conference playoff preview—which would be a real treat of a matchup.
