Today in low-level Lithuanian basketball news, LaVar Ball has resumed his coaching duties for this week's slate of Vytautasβ Big Baller Brand International Tournament games. However, he'll be without youngest son LaMeloΒ after the 16-year-old suffered a "minor" leg injury in a 128-96 loss on Monday.
LaMelo had landed awkwardly after he missed a shot (very, very badly), at which point he limped to the locker room. You can see it in the above video from Overtime, at around the 1:15 mark, or below in this tweet:
βMelo is hurt right now so heβs not the same guy,β his father said afterwards, via Lonzo Wire. βHeβs done.β
For the game, LaMelo was reportedly 0-for-7 from three-point range.
