The Giants had an absolutely awful 2017-18 NFL season. So, so, so, so, so bad.
It got even worse when the Patriots and the Eagles earned slots in Super Bowl LII. Who in the world were Giants fans supposed to cheer for—the team they’ve played twice in the Super Bowl over the last decade or their division rivals?
But as it turns out, the Giants were the ones who ended up winning Super Bowl LII!
OK, so technically, their names won’t end up etched on the Lombardi Trophy after Super Bowl LII ends. But Eli Manning, Odell Beckham Jr., and Landon Collins starred in one of the best commercials that aired during Super Bowl LII, and it has more than a few NFL fans talking about how the Giants managed to beat the Pats in the Super Bowl for the third time in the last 10 years by taking part in it.
