Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been fined $50,000 by the NBA for directing inappropriate and offensive language toward a game official.

Cameras caught Green hurling profane language in the direction of referee Lauren Holtkamp after Green was inadvertently struck in the mouth by Jerami Grant when the two collided in the second quarter of Tuesday's contest between the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With a bloodied mouth, Draymond confronted Holtkamp over the lack of a call while the referee tried to diffuse the situation by repeatedly telling him to "get out of my face." When Green pressed on, the ref slapped him with a technical foul.
