The Patriots completed their comeback win over the Jaguars on Sunday without one of their top players, tight end Rob Gronkowski, who exited the contest in the second quarter after a hit that looked clean to me but nobody gives a shit what I think, so check it out for yourself:

Also defending the hit was ex-Pro Bowl corner and lightning rod Richard Sherman, who sided with Jags safety Barry Church (who I probably should've mentioned got an unnecessary roughness penalty) on the split-second play:

The hit on Gronk is the only way Church could have done his job without just obliterating Gronks knee. If he would have just hit him low most ppl would calm him dirty. So there is nothing he can do to make everyone happy and do his job. Unless you think he should let him catch

Would love to see some of these fans play the game. They all have such great perspectives 🙄. Couldnt even imagine playing at the speed and intensity that these men are playing at. Split second decisions.

Following the automatic first down the Pats were granted for the hit, they were also aided by a questionable pass interference call and went on to score their only touchdown of the first half.
