Congrats to LaVar Ball on Creating the NBA 18 Years Before His Own Birth

Google has an interesting piece of information for us.

LaVar Ball

Wanna know who founded the National Basketball Association? Don't ask Google. In a suspicious glitch (?) of the search engine's algorithm, Google is listing LaVar Ball, est. 1967, as the founder of the NBA, est. 1949. Twitter tipped us off to this mysterious query result that has us thinking LaVar might have some close friends at Google.

We're not sure who or what exactly is behind this trolling, but it only further supports the fact that 2017 was the year of LaVar Ball. Between über-promoting his son into the NBA, launching his Big Baller Brand, and Kris Jenner–ing his way to his own reality show, Ball knows how to keep the family name on our minds.

The NBA was actually created in 1949 with the merging of the Basketball Association of America and the National Basketball League. There was no one founder.
