Rodney Hood was ejected in the third quarter of Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards after referee Tony Brothers heard enough of the Utah Jazz forward's complaints.

There's nothing new about a player getting ejected by referee over complaining about a lack of calls, but the best part happens after Hood gets tossed. As he makes his way back to the locker room, Hood passes by a fan sitting courtside with a phone in his hands. After slapping fives with his teammates, the four-year veteran slaps the phone out of the fan's hands.

Oddly enough, what the camera didn't catch was Brothers swooping in to call a reach-in foul on Hood. We kid, we kid. Now, playing devil's advocate here, but does anyone believe that Hood accidentally thought the fan was another one of his teammates extending their hand for a five?

Look, some days every shot is falling, and other times you can't seem to do anything right. When the latter happens, the key is to avoid getting hit with an unwanted bill for a new phone because you may or may not have let your emotions get the best of you.
