According to Cavs coach Tyronn Lue, point guard Isaiah Thomas (who you likely remember was acquired by Cleveland this past summer, whether you're hungover or not) will make his debut with his new team on Tuesday night against Portland.
For those in need of further info, Thomas will not start for the team, and will instead be on a minutes restriction off the bench. This past Friday the two-time All Star, who has been rehabbing an injured hip, participated in a scrimmage with his Cavs teammates, which is the first time he's done that since joining the squad.
Furthermore, in a development that seems fairly anti-climactic, Thomas will not suit up for the Cavs during their Wednesday night contest against the Celtics, his former team. Instead we'll have to wait until those two organizations (who currently own two of the three best records in the East) play again on Feb. 11 to see Thomas's on-court response to being traded out of the blue by Boston for Kyrie Irving a few months ago.
