Aly Raisman has released a compelling list of demands to the U.S. Olympic Committee regarding their investigation of USA Gymnastics physician Larry Nassar. Raisman posted the list on Twitter Friday. Nassar was sentenced to up to 175 years in prison on sexual assault charges this week.

The gymnast, one of the more than 150 "army of survivors" of Nassar's abuse he disguised as medical treatment, addressed the open letter to Scott Blackmun, CEO of the USOC. In the letter, she urged the USOC to complete a third-party investigation in the Olympic Committee and USA Gymnastics. Blackmun promised there would be an independent investigation of both USG and USOC the day before Raisman released her letter. She also commanded that the details of each investigation remain open and accessible to the public.

"I feel very strongly that unless and until an independent investigation is completed. We cannot be sure (1) we know the full extent of the problem, (2) that all the people who contributed to the problem have been removed and replaced, and (3) that the changes will effectively address the problems," Raisman wrote.

In response to Blackmun's denial of "any knowledge that any individual USAG staff or board members had a role in fostering or obscuring Nassar's actions," Raisman said, "This is exactly the problem we face now. Many of the 'shocking and tragic stories' shared by the survivors have directed blame at people who are still working with or for USAG."

The entire USA Gymnastics Board of Directors will resign in the wake of the events as demanded by the USOC.

During the sentencing phase of the trial, Raisman delivered an incredibly strong 13-minute speech statement. She has been consistently outspoken on how poorly USAG and USOC has handled the situation and their lack of protection for athletes. Nassar pled guilty to 10 charges of sexual assault in two Michigan counties. He was sentenced for seven of those charges.
