James Brown, the longtime CBS sports broadcaster and host of The NFL Today, started trending on Twitter late Sunday night, and as you might imagine, it wasn’t because of some insightful comment he made about an NFL game on his show.

Brown started trending shortly after he sent out a NSFW tweet that featured a link to an adult film. The link included the caption, "Sexy little brunette b—— s——— and f—— her personal trainer’s big —!" It stayed up on the social media site for about 15 minutes before it was finally deleted, which gave people plenty of time to screenshot and save it. The New York Daily Newsshared a censored version of the tweet later.

Right after the tweet came down, Brown took to Twitter to claim that the NSFW tweet was not his doing. Without going into any great detail, Brown sent out a subsequent tweet saying he had "obviously" been hacked.

Those people who were on Twitter late Sunday and early Monday weren’t buying it. Brown’s name started trending almost immediately with most people showing skepticism towards Brown’s excuse for how the NSFW link ended up on his Twitter page. Some suggested he could face consequences from CBS, regardless of whether or not he was the one who actually sent out the tweet in question.

Many people also brought up the now-infamous Ted Cruz Twitter "hack" that took place back in September. Cruz—or someone using Cruz’s Twitter account—was caught "liking" an adult film on the social media site. So some people joked that Cruz could potentially be behind Brown’s alleged hacking.

As of now, Brown hasn’t offered up any further explanation as far as what happened on Sunday. CBS and The NFL Today are also keeping quiet for the moment. But Brown is going to have some more explaining to do once this story starts making the rounds on Monday.
