The Late Late Show picked a great day to book Portland Trail Blazers star point guard Damian Lillard. During his appearance alongside actor Taron Egerton, Lillard was reminded by host James Corden of his lack of a submission for this week's edition of #4BarFriday, a challenge issued by Dame for anyone to spit their best four-bar rap every week.

Lillard's challenge has received by many people, including some players in the NBA, such as Iman Shumpert and LeBron James. But for Dame, firing off a quick freestyle is nothing new. Have you seen him do his thing on Sway In the Morning? So when Corden mentioned the #4BarFriday series, the Trail Blazers guard literally jumped out of his eat to give the audience a little glimpse at his skills on the mic.

Earlier in the show, Lillard sat down with Corden in a recorded segment where they discussed Dame's game-winning fall away three-pointer which propelled the Trail Blazers to the next round of the 2014 NBA playoffs. The interview, however, was ruined by Blazers superfan and Late Late Show writer Ian Karmel, who hijacked the discussion by keeping the talk focused on everything but his incredible shot.
