Unlike many other MMA stars, Ronda Rousey will not attend tonight’s highly anticipated Mayweather vs. McGregor fight. But she’s got a pretty good excuse.

On Friday, UFC president Dana White revealed Rousey will tie the knot with heavyweight fighter Travis Browne on the same day as the megafight. The wedding will reportedly take place in Hawaii.

"Ronda Rousey gets married tomorrow. Tomorrow is her wedding," White told the Rich Eisen Show on the eve of the showdown. "And she's in a good place; she's really happy, and she hasn't announced her retirement or anything like that. She's focusing on this wedding."

White said he initially accepted an invitation to the wedding earlier week. However, he later declined after realizing it fell on the same day Mayweather and McGregor would step into the ring.

"Of all the days. … She said, 'I’m getting married. Will you come to the wedding?' I said, 'Absolutely.' Then she said, 'The wedding’s tomorrow,'" White explained.

During an appearance on Live With Kelly & Ryan last month, Rousey revealed she would say 'I do' in her fiancé’s home state of Hawaii. The two have been in a relationship since 2015, and confirmed their engagement back in April of this year. Brown reportedly popped the question under a New Zealand waterfall—where, he said, it "felt like the right place to do it."
