If you've ever wanted to own a suit that served the dual purpose of looking good and actively degrading your enemies, boy do I have a piece of merchandise for you. The suit that Conor McGregor wore to the opening press conference of mini-tour he did with Floyd Mayweather—you know the one—is now officially available for purchase, so long as you're willing to cough up the cash to purchase it.
The suit, which is emblazoned by pinstripes that spell out the words "FUCK YOU" up and down the suit, is available for purchase for the low, low price of $6,500, and will only be available during a limited run from the manufacturer. In the product listing for the suit, David August tries to walk a fine line between the usual corporate speak and an appeal to customers who would wear such a message into their office.
"Infamy and notoriety isn't always bad," says the listing, "especially in the case of one bold, brave, confident friend of ours who revels in pushing boundaries. For those interested in taking similar risks, we have recreated our original custom 3-piece suit produced exclusively for Conor McGregor and we are making it available as a limited-edition custom order."
In a statement released to GQ, CEO David August Heil said demand for the suit has been through the roof since McGregor was spotted wearing the suit during the press conference. To help make the extraordinary price tag worth it, he's also promising that each suit purchase will be numbered and signed by him personally, in addition to being a made-to-measure item. Should you decide to take the plunge, you'll have your own version of McGregor's suit in about 12-15 weeks.
Unless you're working in a corporate position for the UFC, I'm not sure there's a long list of places where you can get away with wearing a suit that says "FUCK YOU" to every single person who walks past you. You'll certainly have your supporters at the office water cooler, but all it takes is one huffy client or coworker to complain to corporate and your ass is in big trouble.
If you're willing to take the risk, or if you have enough money that it doesn't matter what other people think, you can buy your piece of fight history here. Just don't say you weren't warned when you get a stern lecture from your boss a few months from now.
