The Penguins beat the Predators in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals in Nashville on Sunday night to take home the Stanley Cup for the second season in a row.
And their fans were obviously ecstatic about the outcome of the game. It was all tied up 0-0 with less than two minutes left on the clock in the third quarter when Penguins player Patric Hornqvist scored to give Pittsburgh a 1-0 lead. It gave those who were gathered back in Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena to watch the game something to celebrate.
Predators fans were less than thrilled with the way the game played out, though, especially since Nashville had a goal waved off in the second period that seemed as though it should have counted. A quick whistle by a referee led to a Predators’ goal being wiped off the board, and it set the stage for the Penguins to get the victory.
After the game, one angry Predators fan took his frustrations out on NBC analyst Mike Milbury. Milbury was critical of Nashville defenseman P.K. Subban throughout the Stanley Cup Finals and seemed to side with the Penguins at times during the series. So the Predators fan unloaded on him at the conclusion of Game 6—right when he was in the middle of a live shot. It made for a pretty memorable TV moment.
"Get the fuck out of Nashville!" the fan could be heard yelling in the background as Milbury tried to talk. "Fuck you!"
You can hear the fan’s brief rant in the clip above, though we should warn you that it is definitely NSFW. It’s probably safe to say that Milbury won’t be vacationing in Nashville this summer, huh?
