Can this year get any better for Tom Brady?

The Patriots quarterback won his fifth Super Bowl back in February after completing an improbable comeback against the Falcons. It officially solidified him as a G.O.A.T. candidate. Then, after his Super Bowl jersey was stolen from the Patriots’ locker room by someone pretending to be a member of the media, the authorities managed to track it down in Mexico and return it to him. And now, Brady has yet another reason to celebrate, as he has been selected to appear on the cover of Madden NFL 18, just one year after his teammate Rob Gronkowski graced the cover of the storied video game franchise.

In addition to announcing that Brady will be on the Madden cover, EA Sports also released the first trailer for Madden NFL 18 on Friday. Madden NFL 18 is now available for preorder, and those who decide to preorder the game will get early access to the game this year, their choice of one of five G.O.A.T. players for their Madden NFL 18 Ultimate Team, and other perks.

Oh, and just in case you're worried about the "Madden curse," Brady addressed it on Facebook on Friday morning with this video. Does he look like a guy who is worried about the "Madden curse" to you?

Check out the trailer above. Madden NFL 18 is expected to be released in August.
