Where's the lie?

Russell Westbrook has done it. Westbrook scored 50 points, grabbed 16 boards, and dished out 10 assists in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 106-105 victory over the Denver Nuggets, and set a new NBA record for most triple-doubles in a season.

Westbrook has been racking up the statistics all season long, but accomplishing this seemingly insurmountable feat has solidified Russ as the league MVP.

And if 42 triple-doubles in a season doesn't convince you that Westbrook deserves the trophy, Russ also knocked down this absurd game-winning shot.

But if you're James Harden, who has been pitted against Westbrook for MVP, you might be bringing up another stat:

Good try, good effort everyone else, but the league MVP trophy belongs to Westbrook now.
