Linda Evangelista once said, “We don’t wake up for less than 10,000 a day.” Floyd Mayweather seems to be living his life based on an exaggerated version of the model’s quote. Mayweather reportedly failed to attend his own birthday party for which he had a contractual agreement with a Vegas nightclub.

According toTMZ, the champion boxer is being sued by Foxtail Nightclub at the SLS Hotel for failing to appear at a birthday party they threw for him on Feb. 20 of this year, per a contractual agreement. The club reportedly promised him $35,000 in exchange for a 90-minute appearance at his planned 39th birthday party. However Mayweather allegedly never showed.

Hosting the party and doing a red carpet appearance doesn’t seem like a huge inconvenience, but Money Mayweather seemingly couldn’t be bothered. According to TMZ, SLS claims Mayweather was given half the money in advance, but he reportedly ghosted so he could “stay in Europe for his birthday.” Floyd reportedly hasn’t returned any of the money, and the company is now suing for the advance as well as additional damages.

Representatives for Mayweather did not immediately return Complex's request for comment.
