On Saturday night, Brooke Hogan stirred the pot by implying to a TMZ cameraman that Hulk Hogan could make his return to the WWE at WrestleMania 33 next year in Orlando. "I'll just say I know that people have been calling him for WrestleMania," the Hulkster's daughter said. Then, without laying out any other details (like, for instance, who the hell these "people" are exactly,) she got into a car and was driven away.

Well, we didn't have to wait long for Hulk to either confirm or deny the rumor his daughter started, as he was on Eric Bischoff's MLW radio podcast this week and immediately poured cold water on it. "I know if I don't bring it up, nobody will," Hogan told Bischoff. "So anyway, Brooke's running around on TMZ and made the statement about me and wrestling and WrestleMania. For the record, she needs the big boot to the head. I haven't talked to anybody about WrestleMania. I just need to put that to rest. I asked Brooke, 'What are you doing?' She goes, 'Oh, well, I'm just starting it up.' I said, 'Thanks Brooke.' It was kind of funny. I said, 'No harm. No foul.' It was all in good fun."

The WWE, as you may recall, cut ties with Hogan after he was recorded using the N-word during a rant on his controversial sex tape. In response, the promotion deleted nearly every reference of him from their website, before releasing a statement that said, in part, that they were "committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds."
