It's been 12 years since Goldberg has set foot inside the ring for an official WWE match. But he looked prepared for his comeback match against Brock Lesnar heading into the main event of Sunday night's Survivor Series. The match easily ranked as one of the most anticipated WWE matches of the year.

Lesnar hadn't competed in the ring since he defeated Randy Orton in August. After all of the preceding title and tag team bouts on the Survivor Series card, everybody was expecting these two wrestling legends to annihilate each other from the jump. And they didn't fail to meet spectators' expectations by any stretch, even if their match didn't last very long.

To everyone's surprise, Goldberg nearly destroyed the Beast Incarnate, hitting him with two devastating spears and a Jackhammer for the victory. Oh, all in under three minutes, too.

Well I guess Goldberg can't wrestle for more than 2 minutes so that match had to be over quick #goldbergvslesnar

The last time Goldberg and Brock Lesnar faced each other was WrestleMania XX in 2004. The special guest referee for that match was Stone Cold Steve Austin, and it was during a time in their careers when both were preparing to exit the WWE. It was widely known by the WWE Universe as Goldberg’s last match while Lesnar was leaving to pursue a career in the NFL.

Knowing these two, their feud is far from over. You can see them do battle at Survivor Series in the video above.
