Michael Phelps is officially back in the mood to do interviews and, on Thursday night, just like the ancient Olympians before him (ha), he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to play games and talk about his time at the Rio Olympics.

On this particular night, the game between the host and his guest was Egg Russian Roulette. Now, just like real Russian Roulette, the fun of the game comes from the element of surprise. And so, with that in mind, we won't ruin the video above by telling you what happens in it, but let's just say that Phelps did not walk away with a gold medal following his Egg Russian Roulette performance.

That wasn't the only surprise Fallon had in store for Phelps, either, as he also gave him a life-sized cardboard cutout of his insane pre-race death stare that became a meme. As he received it, Phelps told the NBC host that he knew it had a good chance to go viral as it was happening. "The worst is, I was sitting in the ready room and I remember, like, I always know there’s always two cameras in the upper right hand corner," he said. "As I’m making a face, I’m like, 'Yup that’s on camera, someone will pick that up tomorrow.'"

From there, they transitioned into Fallon letting Phelps know that Ryan Lochte is free to come on the show any time he wants, because of course, that just had to come up at some point:
