Drake may have taken a shot at Matt Barnes by wearing a Derek Fisher jersey during a Summer Sixteen Tour stop in California on Tuesday night.

If you haven’t been keeping up, Drake has worn quite a few NBA jerseys during the various stops on his Summer Sixteen Tour with Future. He wore a Michael Jordan jersey in Chicago:

A Dr. J jersey in Philly:

A Devin Booker jersey in Phoenix:

A Kobe Bryant jersey in Los Angeles:

And a Kevin Durant jersey in Oakland:

All perfectly acceptable jersey choices. But during a show at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Tuesday night, Drake threw a little bit of a curveball with the jersey that he decided to wear. The Forum is the former home of the Lakers, so he really could have gone in any number of directions. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, James Worthy, Jerry West—the possibilities are endless! And yet, Drake decided to wear the jersey of former Lakers player…

Wait, Derek Fisher?! Where do you even get one of his jerseys in 2016?

This would have been an odd choice under normal circumstances. But what made it even weirder was the caption Drake put on a different Instagram photo of him wearing the jersey:

Hold up, was that a subliminal directed at former Grizzlies player Matt Barnes—and did it have anything to do with this incident involving Rihanna?

If so, then Drake wearing the Fisher jersey makes a whole lot more sense. But if not, there's a good reason why everyone is confused about it:

Ok drake is wearing a laker jersey. With the number 2. Is he really wearing a Derek Fisher jersey?

Drake and Future are back at The Forum on both Wednesday and Thursday nights. It’ll be interesting to see if the Fisher jersey makes a repeat appearance.
