Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley went on Raw on Monday night to say goodbye to the WWE.Β

One year ago, The Dudley BoyzΒ joined the WWE with the hopes of winning their 10th tag team championship title. After failing to topple WWE tag team champions The New Day last week, the duo was unable to right the ship once again in their SummerSlamΒ match against Sami Zayn & NevilleΒ on Sunday night. But it seems they enjoyed their time in WWE despite not ultimately winning the title, and on Monday, they sent out tweets about how it was time to say "goodbye" onΒ Raw.

One year ago we came back to the @WWE and to the @WWEUniverse . now it's time to say goodbye tonight on raw ...

And that's exactly what they did when they climbed into the ring on Monday night.Β WWE posted this photo of the pair on Instagram just before they made their final RawΒ appearance:

The Dudley Boyz have been together for more than 20 years now. It's unclear where they will end up next or what their future plans are, but they have now wrestled on behalf of WWE, ECW, TNA, AJPW, and more. Bubba Ray posted this message on Twitter late Monday and didn't seem to rule out the idea of returning to the WWE one day:

Our work here is done. THANK YOU to @WWE @WWEUniverse and "the boys". Was our pleasure to see all of you again. See ya down the road. #RAW πŸ€“
