On Saturday night, Kanye West attended UFC 202 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. We all know this because, during the event, Skip Bayless reported that Kanye had to ask Mike Tyson to move out of his seat at one point (and amazingly, he lived to talk about it). And during a subsequent interview with TMZ Sports earlier this week, Skip also revealed that Kanye is apparently a big UFC fan. So much so that he tried to turn Skip into a bigger UFC fan than he is during the Conor McGregor/Nate Diaz fight at UFC 202.

"He and I started going back and forth about what’s better, UFC or boxing?" Skip told TMZ Sports. "I grew up with Ali and Frazier and I told him, 'I miss those days.' And Kanye said, 'I didn’t know those days.' He loves UFC. He turned to me mid-fight during the main fight between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz and he said, 'Hey, aren’t you convinced this is better than boxing?' And I said, 'No, but this is really good.'"

The fight was really good, and after it ended, Kanye decided that he wanted to congratulate the victor. So he made his way backstage and shared a brief moment with McGregor, who was still really bloody from the fight and hobbled by a shin injury. McGregor didn’t stop to talk with Kanye for long but he did embrace him for a few seconds—without getting any blood on his clothes!—before making his way to his post-fight press conference.

"Pablooooooo!" McGregor said. "What’s up, man?"

"Good job," Kanye said in response, before McGregor thanked him for coming to the fight.

You can watch their interaction at around the 1:30 mark of the clip above, which serves as a preview for UFC’s "The Thrill and the Agony." Who knew Kanye was such a UFC aficionado?
