The Brazil synchronized diving team of Giovanna Pedroso and Ingrid Oliveira have decided to part ways, and the 2016 Olympics may be to blame. According to The Sun, Oliveira kicked Pedroso out of their room to have sex with Brazilian canoeist Pedro Goncalves. Now, this wasn't some "give me the room for an hour" arrangement. It is being reported that Ingrid "hinted that her roommate should find herself another place to crash."

Oh, did we mention that all of this took place the night before their competition?

The following day, the duo finished last in the women’s 10m synchronized diving, and it's probably not difficult to understand why. It doesn't take a genius to know that kicking a teammate out of your room the night before the biggest competition of their lives is going to cause a riff that will hurt their chemistry and affect the overall team performance in a synchronized diving competition.

Pedroso complained to her coaches and fellow athletes, and the story of her ordeal reportedly made its way up to the executives of the Brazilian Olympic Committee. "I have been waiting for four years to be present at the Olympics and for her it was better to have fun and therefore threw me out of the room," she complained, perThe Sun

Since announcing that they have broken up, Pedroso told the Brazilian newspaper O Globo, “This fight started in training because I wanted to make a jump and she wanted to do another.” Riiiiiight
