Marcus Rashford is reaping the rewards for his breakthrough Premier League season.

The 18-year-old scored eight goals in just 18 games for Manchester United in the final months of last season and confirmed his arrival on the world stage with a place in England's Euro 2016 squad – where he was one of the few players to emerge from the tournament with any credit.

According to reports, Nike Football has recognised his star potential and tied him to a new five-year sponsorship deal worth £2 million. Nike's marketing men reportedly see him as one of the future faces of the brand.

Rashford made his Premier League breakthrough wearing Nike Mercurials.

We've already seen glimpses of how highly Nike rate Rashford.

At the end of last season, he was one of the only players to be given a pair of limited edition Nike Mercurial IV's styled on Ronaldo's iconic pair from 1998, to wear during Euro 2016.
