Charles Barkley believesΒ Odell Beckham Jr.'s recent comments aboutΒ Josh Norman point out a much bigger problem: the New York Giants star wide receiver is becoming "too famous." Earlier this week, an interview with Beckham appeared in the August 2016 issue of GQ in whichΒ he reveals how those dating rumors with Khloe KardashianΒ messed up his personal life. The 23-year-old wideout also talks about Norman, claiming the only reason that he "has become so relevant is because of me."Β

While this banter seems to be on par for the course given their bitter rivalry, Chuck explained thatΒ fame may be getting the best of Beckham during his appearance on NFL Total AccessΒ on Friday.Β

PerNFL.com:

"Well that's just stupid," Barkley said. "Josh NormanΒ is fantastic. I mean c'mon man. I think that Beckham, I don't know him I've only said hello to him one time. There's two ways fame works: You run fame or fame runs you. And it can get out of hand very quickly."Β

It's true that OBJΒ has become very famous in his short time in the NFL. Just look at what happened during a recent trip to Germany.Β

However, Beckham also appears very committed to improving his craftβ€”or at least that's what he's conveying through his Instagram account. Even though Chuck is concerned, one thing's clear: When Odell gets between those lines, the numbers don't lie.Β
