Ayesha Curry has received much backlash (and clowning) for her incendiary conspiracy-charged tweet about the NBA that was heard 'round the world following the Warriors' loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 of the NBA Finals late Thursday night. And in a media press conference on Saturday, to much laughter, her two-time NBA MVP husband Steph Curry answered a question from a reporter about dealing with distractions. Steph's tongue-in-cheek answer poked fun at the controversy surrounding his wife's tweets. "I may have to cut the Wi-Fi off at my house," he told reporters.

Ayesha Curry, the (mostly) beloved Twitter Queen of the NBA, has gotten much criticism and vitriol from the likes of ESPN firebrand Stephen A. Smith, Cavaliers fans, Metta World Peace, and Twitter trolls, who Ayesha can usually count on to be her protective thumb-barking guard dogs

Ayesha sent the tweet after Steph became the first player to be ejected from an NBA Finals game in 20 years. Ayesha's frustration was already high after learning of her dad being racially profiled upon entry into the Cavs' arena before Game 6. Steph seemed half-joking, yet half-serious and added that the tweet won't be a distraction heading into Sunday's Game 7. He knows that these tweets don't need to put themselves back in the line of fire through the summer if the Warriors actually fail to win the NBA crown after their historic season is complete on Sunday night.
