When Iggy Azalea announced she had broken up with Nick Young recently, most people assumed it was because she was still having trouble trusting him after the D’Angelo Russell situation. Young was secretly filmed telling Russell about how he had cheated on Iggy in the past, and the thought was that she hadn’t been able to get over it. But as it turns out, she might have a much different reason for breaking off her engagement with the Lakers star.
According to Life & Style, Iggy decided to break up with Young because he got his ex-girlfriend Keonna Green—the mother of his 4-year-old son Nick Jr.—pregnant. The tabloid is reporting that Young waited until Green was four months pregnant to tell Iggy about her pregnancy and that he explained it to her by saying he “was drunk and had a lapse in judgement.”
“He said it was a one-night stand and will never happen again,” a source told Life & Style. "But it’s too late. He is having another son!”
Life & Style spoke briefly with Green two days after Iggy announced that she had broken up with Young, and she said, “Yes,” when she was asked if Young had accidentally gotten her pregnant. She reportedly declined to comment further.
Young was spotted out in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, where he joked about losing the engagement ring that Iggy gave back to him after they split:
