Tyson Fury became the most popular man in Nice for one night only.
Days after postponing his world heavyweight title rematch with Wladimir Klitschko due to an ankle injury, the WBA WBO and Ring Magazine champion flew out to France to support England in their Euro 2016 bid.
Ahead of England's last 16 showdown with Iceland, the self-styled Gypsy King partied with Three Lions fans on the streets of Nice – showing his generous side by treating an entire bar to 200 Jägerbombs worth a combined €1,000.
One of the barman filmed Fury making the €1,000 order.
Instagram and Twitter was soon flooded with footage of Fury drinking and dancing with the England supporters.
The heavyweight king was later seen drinking beer and singing with the fans.
This isn't the most typical way to rehab from an injury. We shouldn't expect that rematch with Klitschko anytime soon.
