During Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Draymond Green called LeBron James a “bitch”—twice!—and it made LeBron so mad that he looked like he wanted to fight the Warriors star. At least, that’s the story we were all told in various reports in the days after the game. But did Green actually direct a different word at LeBron?

Bill Simmons had Bulls star Jimmy Butler on his latest episode of “The Bill Simmons Podcast,” and during their discussion, they talked about the Draymond/LeBron altercation, which ended up getting Green suspended for Game 5. Interestingly enough, Simmons said he heard that Green used a word other than "bitch" while yelling at LeBron during Game 4.

“I heard he didn’t say the B-word,” Simmons said. “I heard it began with an F and ended with boy. That was what I heard…That’s why I think LeBron took it so personally. I’m sure LeBron has been called the B-word before. He really got upset. I don’t know if you saw. His feelings got hurt. It’s really hard to hurt LeBron’s feelings. He’s one of the strongest people in the United States.”

If Simmons is right, that would explain LeBron flipping out and wanting to fight Green. It would also explain why he reportedly told Green he's a man with three kids during their heated discussion.

Between this latest report and Green basically guaranteeing that he would have helped the Warriors win Game 5, Game 6 is going to be even crazier than we thought.
