If you're ever in Tokyo and you come across a former MLB player by the name of Brandon Laird, don't be afraid to ask him for a free can of beer. He will probably hook you up because he's got enough to spare after this home run he hit off of a Kirin Brewery sign in the Tokyo Dome earned him a year supply and $10,000

Laird played for the Yankees, Astros, and Royals in 2012, 2013, and 2014, respectively, before signing with the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters in Japan. Now he must feel good about being in Japan, home to major incentives for crushing balls off of ads, unlike here in the States.

Laird commented in the Japan Times on winning endless amounts of brew and $10K during the game: "“I think it’s pretty cool when they tell you if you hit the signs you get a prize like that. To actually do it in a game was pretty cool."

But he's doesn't plan on drinking all that beer through the next year. He was asked for his solution on how he's going to handle having that much beer to keep cool. "Definitely not drink it. Maybe give some to the batting practice pitchers or whoever wants."

Leave a comment about which brand's ad sign you would love to peg with a home run ball to win a year's supply of their product.
