This is not a drill: Steph Curry is back!

After taking a nasty spill in Game 4 in the Golden State Warriors' first round contest against the Houston Rockets, Curry was ruled out for at least two weeks with a sprained MCL. Considering how the injury looked at the time, the two-time NBA MVP should consider himself lucky it wasn't worse.

Over the last couple of days, speculation has grown that Curry's return was imminent. Earlier today, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr discussed the possibility of Steph's return to the court and offered up some positive news, saying it would come down to how he felt in warmups.

Kerr: Stephen Curry (knee) will play in Game 4 vs. Blazers "if all goes well in his warm-up...He'll be active... Not telling [if he starts]"

When Curry took the Moda Center court, things were continuing to look good.

Then, Bay Area News sports columnist Marcus Thornton delivered the good news we've been waiting to hear.

Stephen Curry just ran by me, winked and said: "I'm good."

He's playing.

And just in case you thought Thornton was just toying with our emotions, Steph himself confirmed the news.

Lock in! #DubNation
