There might be another Heskey in the Premier League's future.

Ex-England and Liverpool striker Emile Heskey's eight-year-old son has become the latest prodigy to follow in their father's footsteps, putting pen to paper on a deal to join Manchester City's academy.

Reigan Heskey was joined by first team players Gael Clichy, Fabian Delph and Eliaquim Mangala as he signed the contract, which was posted to Instagram by his mother, Chantelle.

Reigan Heskey spent the day at the Etihad Stadium along with City's other young recruits.

Premier League legend (not always in a good way) Emile made his name at Leicester City before joining Liverpool in a £11 million deal in 2000. He played for England at the World Cup in 2002 and 2010, but scored just seven times for his country in 62 appearances.
