In Western Pennsylvania, football isn’t just a way of life, it’s also the only way out—which is why the parents of players take the game even more seriously than their kids do. This Tuesday, look for a two-hour block of the all-new spin-off series, Friday Night Tykes: Steel Country.

In the first episode, tension is already mounting between Ambridge’s Head Coach, Moses Cox, and some very involved parents have started questioning his play calling and overall coaching ability. In fact, the debut episode found Coach Cox fighting with one such parent, and getting suspended as a result.

Next up, in the second episode, Coach Cox returns to action, knowing that the best way to silence the haters is to do one thing: win. But the path to victory is not going to be easy, to say the least. The same can be said for the Monaca Lil Indians, who endure yet another setback when the team has its equipment robbed. In a town that settles for nothing less than a championship, both clubs definitely have their work cut out for them.
