New York Assemblymen Oppose Legalization of MMA by Comparing It to Slavery and Gay Porn

There are some New York assemblymen who don’t want to see MMA legalized.

Will MMA be legalized in the state of New York? That’s the question that a group of lawmakers spent all day discussing. According to WNYT reporter Dan Levy, some of them like the idea of legalizing the sport:

And some of them really hate it. They hate it so much that they went as far as to compare it to slavery:

The thought seems to be that a bill legalizing MMA will pass the New York state assembly. But clearly, there are going to be at least a few people who are going to be very upset about it.
