The 'Mini Clasico' is actually a thing and it's just as intense as the real game.

As Barcelona and Real Madrid prepare to clash heads in the biggest game in club football this weekend, both clubs' U12s teams faced off to claim Spanish youth football's bragging rights.

Highlights uploaded to Barca's YouTube channel show us the kind of things we're used to seeing between the Spanish giants on game day; tiki-taka football, referee harassment, filthy challenges and – above all else – a wonder goal that Lionel Messi would have been proud of.

Toni Caravaca is the child prodigy now being dubbed as the 'Mini Messi' following an outstanding 25-yard free kick that flew into the top corner, crashing off the woodwork on its way.

He's already wearing the number 10 shirt, watch out Leo.
