The last time Andrew Bynum played in the NBA was back in—*racks brain, finds nothing, searches Wikipedia*—2014. Wait, 2014? It’s been two years since Bynum last played in the league?!

Yup, it’s been two years since Bynum spent a few months playing for the Pacers. And in those two years, Bynum has more or less fallen off the face of the Earth. He doesn’t seem to have any social media accounts, and he hasn’t done any interviews. So it was a surprise to see him pop up on TMZ Sports this morning.

Unfortunately, Bynum didn’t have much to say to them. He said he’s been “just chilling” since leaving the NBA, talked very briefly about Baron Davis’ D-League comeback, and shied away from any Kobe Bryant-related questions. But he did provide one (sort of) interesting sound bite when he was asked about the possibility of playing in the NBA again one day. His response? "Anything is possible."

Granted, he didn't say it quite like this:

So we wouldn't get too excited here. But Bynum is only 28. So maybe?
