The All-Australian NBA All-Star Team

With so many Australians making the NBA, which players would make an all-Aussie NBA All-Star team?

The NBA All-Star game hits Toronto this weekend, Australia Day was only weeks ago, and Australian basketball just keeps getting stronger. With all the talent from our shores making it to the NBA over the years, which players would make an all-Aussie All-Star team, based off their NBA careers only?

Looking through our starting lineup of antipodean ballers, four of the five have appeared in the NBA Finals, and three are sitting somewhere polishing a ring or three. We’ve had to relegate a few superstars to the bench, but even the reserves boast a nice mix of size (Baynes, Anstey, Jawai), shooting (Heal, Gaze, Andersen) and athleticism (Exum). We’ll let naturalised Australian Brett Brown suit up as the Coach.

Could this team compete in the NBA regular season? We’ll leave that for you to decide.

This is awesome.
