The Grizzlies' Marc Gasol left yesterday's loss to the Blazers in the first quarter after feeling pain in his right foot. The good news is that he isn't a hypochondriac, the bad news is that his foot is broken and he might be out for the rest of the season because of it.

ESPN's Marc Stein posted a front office statement on the matter from a phone in desperate need of charging:

Gasol's averages in 52 games this season were (or is it are?...I don't know, who cares): 16.6 points (best on the team), 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per night. As for Memphis they're 30-22, currently good for fifth place in the West.
