Maybe next year, Jets.

The Bills had nothing to gain today. Win or lose, they were going to continue their long sabbatical from the postseason. However, Rex Ryan's old team was playing for a playoffs spot. That was a good enough reason for the Bills to play their best football.

Ryan coached a defense that forced Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw three interceptions, including the one on the final drive that clinched the Bills' 22-17 victory. The Steelers easily beat the Browns 28-12. So, Pittsburgh is in the playoffs. The Jets, despite having their best season since 2010, are out.

Ryan began the season by welcoming Geno Smith jaw-breaker IK Enemkpali to the Bills. He ends it by crushing the Jets' playoff hopes. Ryan is a legend.
